4 WAYS TO MANAGE YOUR FINANCES THAT CAN HELP YOU ACHIEVE FINANCIAL FREEDOM

People constantly struggle financially. Feeling stuck and unable to live the lifestyle they desire can be extremely frustrating. In this article, I want to give you four tips that can help you get your peace of mind back.

What can you do to get your life back on track? Take a deep breath first. This is a process and will take some time. You must develop the desire first, while managing your money wisely as this is the starting point to an attainable lifestyle.

1.Prioritize

No matter what your current situation is you should always have at the top of your "to do" list you the one thing that you MUST do to achieve financial freedom.

For some reason when I talk to people they say to me, "well I can't afford anything because I don't have any money". At this point I say, "Well you do not need anything, just choose not to spend any money, then you can make whatever amount you wish."

My response is always the same never do this. Never buy anything unless you have the money to do so. You may not be in a hole right now. You may just not have the income today (although this does not mean it has to be this way).

However you can still spend less money and put it in a savings plan, truck and you will be surprised how quickly you find the extra money that the average person doesn't even realize they have been spending suddenly.

The thing is I don't know how much you eat per day, 15 days a week or in a day and a half. I do know when you are hungry you are likely to buy a lot more than you need. Not only that but when you are not hungry you aren't spending any money. I challenge people every time I meet with them to bring something from home to eat. We often set a goal to make something from home.

Often you will be so tired after a long day that you may wish you had gotten a second job where you no longer had to earn money to take your spouse to lunch or to go out to dinner once or twice a week.

The point is you need to make sure you are involved in as many money making activities as possible. It is usually much easier for a single person to find additional ways to make money than a family who always depends on a single income. Yet while you should take advantage of every resource available to you builds. This can be achieved by buying a franchise for example that allows you to run a small business that will eventually support more than one person.

What we have noted above is that it is important for you to keep yourself involved in money making activities. Why else do you think all those people who have not achieved financial freedom have done?

2.Use time wisely

Select the activities that are in your life that are not highly regulated and not highly enjoyable. You might be doing the wrong thing by doing this. You might be enjoyment a beer with your friends instead of investing that time to network or learn about a growing trend. Consuming a $4 cup of coffee every day will soon cost you $100 a month for 6 months without alow cost way to earn money on the side.

Your goal here is to maximize the quality of your time. Use it for the things you love only and when you are in a high enough state of excitement you will draw your reward and at that point your life will only change for the better.

3.Get out of debt

One of the steps you will have to take that will help you to achieve financial freedom is to repay your debts in full. Do you really want to still be paying for your share of the mortgage when you are retired? That is not going to happen. You will need time and energy to repay all those loans.

Maybe if you spent a little more time at home with your kids, you would have more time to repay the mortgage without being hit by the increased costs that arisen from having a mortgage. Time and energy are finite things, remember this.

Part two will really involve paying down your debts. At the same time ensure that you have some money put aside as savings just in case an emergency arises.

4.Avoid consume credit cards

One more essential "change of habit" that you will need to phase in before you ever get to financial freedom is to start to successfully manage and control your ability to spend.

Credit cards have led to the introduction of more money problems for many people. Not all of us have the financial discipline to only buy the things you need. You can get yourself into a lot of trouble if you do not use credit cards wisely.

Do you really want to go back to paying for everything with cash on a weekly basis on a credit card once you have achieved financial freedom?
